MOVIE POSTER MONDAY: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Just released today… this new gem from one of the most talked-about movies of the past ten years, the enormously titled Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
There’s no way we could ignore a new Indiana Jones poster on Movie Poster Monday. Even if it stunk. Which this doesn’t. (click on it to enjoy it nice and big)
In fact, it brings back that great illustrative design of the serial adventures, used liberally and brilliantly in the posters of the original Star Wars trilogy. And our friends at slashfilm remind us the designer is Drew Struzan, who’s done previous Indiana Jones movies, Blade Runner, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, the Back to the Future movies and countless others.
For anyone who doesn’t know… the story for Crystal Skull is credited to George Lucas and the screenplay is written by David Koepp (both Jurassic Park films, Spider-Man, War of the Worlds and on and on)
