Meet In The Lobby

First, there were clips from Queens Boulevard. Then the fake trailer for the ill-fated Medellin. Now, the Entourage gang goes viral again with spot-on advertising for “Viking Quest The Game” and Viking Quest on DVD. For you non-Entourage nuts, Viking Quest is the TV claim-to-fame for the great Johnny Chase (Johnny Drama to you and me), played by Kevin Dillon.

This is great, inside-dope marketing for hardcore fans of Entourage, whose new season premieres Sunday, September 7 at 10pm ET. We’ve already seen Johnny Drama attend the Viking Quest convention, and this carries the BS reality even further.

What’s really impressive is how deep each site goes before revealing the joke. First, the Viking Quest game site features an actual game. (G’head try it.) Then, the site for Viking Quest on DVD has three fake information links for the show… to see the Entourage connection, you have to click “Buy the DVD.”

So where the hell are my Queens Boulevard t-shirts?! Oh wait, here we go.
