Ben Kingsley, TRANSSIBERIAN Kick Off IFFBoston
A real “red carpet” at an indie film festival?! When someone with “Sir” in front of their name shows up, bet on it. The 2008 Independent Film Festival of Boston kicks off opening night Wednesday with Sir Ben Kingsley appearing for a screening of Brad Anderson’s train thriller Transsiberian.

After his star turn on The Sopranos, I’ll be really tempted to call him “Sir Kingsley.” But I know better than Chris Moltisanti.
